Homer as Wolverine was another one of those designs that I thought would be easy, until I really go into it's creation.  I used Krusty the Clown for the base instead of Homer.  Once Krusty's hair was removed, he looks just like Homer.  Sculpting his mask was bit of a challenge.  I started by gluing shaped pieces of plastic styrene to his head, then used Magic Sculpt putty to fill in the back.  Magic Sculpt was then used to create his belt, boots, gloves, etc.  I then used more plastic styrene, cut into thin strips, for his claws.
