For this Wolverine figure I wanted to be different from the others I've made. This time I went for a more "statue" look over a playable figure. I used Shadow Hawk from the Spawn toy line. I started by covering all unwanted detail with a little coat of Magic Sculpt. After the putty dried, I sculpted the details I did want. Since you can't see the base figures face, I used my trusty X-acto knife to carefully cut away at Shadow Hawks head, so I had room to place the lower half of Wolverine's face. For that, I cut up a Daredevil head. I used thin strips of plastic styrine, cut into shape, for his claws. Since Wolverine's Brown and Orange outfit is one of my favorites, I chose that for the final paint. I placed the figure on a base from another Spawn figure, then glued them onto a wooded plaque...for added class!
