When I decided to finally make my first Venom figure, I knew I had go all out!  I wanted a classic look and a great pose.  I found both by using a Conan figure from the McFarlane toy line.  I started of by removing all unwanted detail from the base figure.  I then used a Venom head from Toy Biz and the hands from Marvel legends Sabertooth.  Venom's symbiote arms are from a  Spider-Man base.  With a few modification of the arms, I was able to add them to Venom's body.  I painted the figure black with a dry brush of blue.  Then finished the figure off with a coat of high gloss spray, to give Venom his slimy appearance.  I then added him to a marbleized wooden base for extra class!
