The Dark Side never looked so funny! Darth Vader Homer was real fun to create. A lot of work, but well worth it in the end. I used the Power Planet Homer for this job, although a regular Homer would have also done the job. I chose Power Plant Homer because of his jumpsuit, gloves and boots. This saved allot of time not having to sculpt them. I used a Darth Vader Pez dispenser for his helmet. I decided to transform his face into a half Homer, half mask. I felt this added more humor to the finished figure. Some Milliput putty was used to sculpt his power box, belt, shoulder and chest armor. Black fabric was glued to his waist and shoulders. A light weight silver chain was then added to his neck. Clear red PVC pipe was used for his saber. This can be bought at any fine hobby shop. I used glossy and flat back paint to give Vader Homer the correct coloring.
