You know it has to happen....Clark Kent will become Superman. But we may never see that on the TV show "Smallville". I couldn't wait around for the toy companies to make a figure of a character that may never been shown, so I had to do it myself. I used the head of Tom Welling/Clark Kent from the Smallville toy line made by DC Direct. Now, I could have taken the "cheap" way out of this custom job and used the body of a Superman figure. But then he wouldn't have the "body type" I was looking for. Lets face it, all the Superman figures out there are very muscular, and young Kent is not that big. I knew I had to go with a body that was less impressive. I choose another DC Direct figure named Apollo. This figure was the right size and most important, the right build. I use Magic Sculpt Putty of add the details needed to make Superman's out. IE: Boots, belt, collar, etc. I did, however, use a cape from another Superman figure.  After a new paint job, Smallville Superman was complete.
