Sabertooth was created using Rip Claw from McFarlane toys.  Rip Claw's pose and body type, made this figure the ideal base.  It also came with a cool woodland  style base for the final custom.  I started by removing all unwanted detail from the figure.  This was especially hard around the torso where Rip Claw had some outfit details.  I resulpted his hair and sideburns with Magic Sculpt putty.  The claws on the sides of his gloves were made by cutting sheets of plastic styrine into the correct shape and gluing them onto his forearms.  I then used putty to smooth them into his gloves.  I used flux fur for the hair around his shoulders.  I chose a two tone fur with frosted ends to extra depth.  The fur was cut to the correct shape to fit around his chest and neck.  Since the fur was slightly too long, and out of scale with the figure,  I shorten it a bit using scissors.
