Batman always seems like a natural figure for customizers to make. Everyone I know has made one. Batman can be made from a large variety of base figures. This Mega Size Batman was made from the Stark Raven action figure, so Batman stands a whopping 9 1/2 inches tall, 10 inches if you count his ears. The hardest part with making this Batman version over the smaller one pictured on this site, is all the damn Dremeling I had to do. And boy was it messy! I don't know what type of black plastic they used for the Stark Raven figure, but it sure left a huge mess of black plastic shavings when I was done. Pissed my wife off something fierce! After I removed all the detail to the base figure I had to smooth out all the rough areas that the Dremel left, I did that with my Milliput putty. I used thin sheets of plastic cut into the shape of Batman's ears and glove spikes, then glued them on. Some more Milliput was used for his belt buckle, gloves and boots. Another trip to the fabric store was needed for his cape. This time around I decided to attach his cape lower down from his head, so I could allow his head to still move. I blended the seam were his cape met his shoulders with some Milliput. After it was painted, his cape appeared smoothly blended into his neck.
