It was always a wonder to me why Hasbro never released a classic Luke
figure for the Star Wars Unleashed line. It just seemed like a
natural choice. Anyway, I felt that I needed to remedy that.
Luke Skywalker, as he appeared in Episode 4, was made using Mace Windu's
body and Jedi Luke's head. This wasn't just a simple head
transplant and repaint. Nope, allot of re-sculpting need to be
done. I first started by removing Mace's head and gluing Luke's in
it's place. I then needed to re-sculpt his neck and smooth out the
surrounding area. I then cut his arms at the elbows, repositioned
them, and sculpted over the new seams . New hands wear need for
Luke, so I dug through my trusty "Box-O-Parts" for a pair. A left
over Trooper blaster fit nicely into his hand and the base from General
Grievous Unleashed worked perfectly as a section of the Death Star.
I used bandage rap from my medicine cabinet for Luke's trademark boots.
