Star Wars holds a very special place in all of our hearts, but you have to admit that there a a few plot holes in Lucas' story line. The lesser of those "holes", I believe to be this one.....

Why even make Black Jedi Robes available to a Jedi?  Don't you think the "Jedi Robe Shop" wouldn't even considered carrying them?  Maybe it's just me, but If I worked at the shop and a Jedi came in and tried on a black robe, or even a really dark drown one, a warning light would go off in my head.  "This could be trouble."  So when Anakin first put on his black and dark brown robe, why the hell didn't someone say something!  All that Jedi power floating around that place and everyone was color blind?

Anyway, I thought that sooner or later Luke would trade in his dark duds for a Traditional Jedi Robe.   Even Lucas had plans to produce an action figure of Luke in classic robes.

I created Luke using a 12" Dragon style body.  This body type has tons of articulation over the Hasbro version.   The robes and saber came from Mace Windu.  I replaced the Hasbro saber blade with a strip of florescent green plastic styrene.  The styrene, cut and shaped to size, was a better match for the real thing.  I hand painted and airbrushed his head, boots and belt.
