Kid Flash was another one of those figures that you would think would be a piece of cake to make. And you would be partly right. Kid Flash, was of course, made from the Flash figure from the Animated JLA line. I started by sculpting his gloves and hair. I also need to carefully sculpt the top of his mask, just above his eyes and around his head. Since the bottom of the Flash is the same as Kid Flash, no work needed to be done there. Painting yellow onto a red figure would have been a waste of time, so I masked off the bottom of the figure with tape and trimmed it around his waist, into a "V" pattern. I then sprayed the whole figure white. This allowed me a clean figure on which to paint his top half. Since the red and yellow of the original figure was slightly different from the colors I painted on the top half of the Flash, I used a light wash of paint to just slightly cover his legs and boots. This made the colors match up better.
