It had been awhile since I created a new Indy figure and I knew that if I was
going to revisit my movie hero, I was going to need to to it bigger and better!
This version was creating using Han Solo from the Star Wars Unleashed line.
It's a 7" inch figure with great detail and a dynamic pose. I started off
by removing all unwanted detail like his vest and holster. I then
re-sculpted his shirt, pants, belts and holster to be movie accurate. No
detail was missed, right down to the epilates on his shoulders and the stitching
down the front of his shirt. I carefully removed his
"blaster" with an X-acto knife and added his revolver. Next it was
time for his hair cut. The base figure had lots of hair that needed to go
and be re-sculpted with a shorter do. I then hand painted and airbrushed the
figure. The logo plaque was hand sculpted then cast in resin. I
added a real leather whip for extra detail.
