I just can't enough of Indiana Jones. This was the second time I decided to make an action figure of my favorite movie hero. And I must say the best figure I feel I've made so far! Created from the Planet of the Apes Tyler figure, I made two versions. With and without removable jackets. Indy took a lot of work. First I had to remove the beard on his face and make sure it was smooth enough to paint. Then I had to totally re-sculpt his outfit. I was crazy for detail, I even sculpted the straps on his jacket and the pleats in his shirt! As for the horse, he was a perfect fit for Indy. Only minor custom work had to be done on his saddle. I then made a real canvass badroll with leather straps for that added detail. Knowing that no toy company will ever make my hero into my version of the perfect figure, I felt it was just up to me!
