Well by now you must think I'm obsessed with Indiana Jones. And you would be right. I'm also crazy about Donald Duck. So mixing the two was inevitable. I used a resin Donald picture holder for this hybrid. While cleaning one day, my wife knocked it over and broke poor Donald into pieces. This gave me the chance the rebuild him. To make him better, Stronger! Using my Dremel, I needed to get rid of his sailors hat and most of his shirt, like his bow tie and cape. I then used Milliput to rescuplt his Indy shirt. I used Super Sculpy for his holster and bag, then after baking the pieces, I glued them onto Donald. I used black "gymp" for his belt and shoulder straps. "Gymp" is a flat plastic string and is sold in rolls. Great for making belts quickly. His hat was a resin casting I made years ago, that I had sitting around to be used. Originally I made the hat for a 12 inch Indy doll, but have yet to use it for that. I then used some string that I painted brown for his whip. Rapping it around Donald was not originally planned, it just came to me about half way through making the figure. Sometimes the best ideas for a figure come after your done.
