Judge Homer Dredd was another one of those figures that started out easy, but turned out to be more difficult then I thought. I used the Power Plant Homer as the base figure. His jumpsuit, gloves and boots made him the ideal for this character. I then used the parts from a real Judge Dredd figure for his shoulder armor, belt, arm and leg pads. That was the easy part. The hard part was his helmet. For that I used a clear plastic gumball bubble. I really had to shop around for the right size bubble. After getting the right size, I had to cut away some of the plastic. This posed to be a real pain. The plastic kept cracking. Finally it worked and I was able to use my Milliput Putty to sculpt the top of the helmet. I then needed to rescuplt Homers face to fit inside.
