Capt. Homer-America was made from a Power Plant Homer figure. This was an ideal base figure because some of his detail was already there. A small amount of Dremeling was needed to remove his collar, and my X-acto knife came in handy for removing his hair. Putty was then used for his belt buckle, boot tops and mask. I used red tape for his stripes and vinyl lettering for his "H". I decided to sculpt his star, instead of just painted it on. I felt this gave Homer an extra level of detail.
