I had  a Harley Quinn figure on my "To Do List" for a very long time.  It wasn't until I found the ideal base figure, that I finally took Harley to the next step.  I used an anime figure, of Cammy from Street Fighter, as Harley's base.  As female anime figures normally go, this figure had a certain sex appeal,  which I felt fit this character very well.  I started by removing all unwanted detail,  then sculpted Harley's trademark outfit with putty.  I didn't want the figure to have a realistic gun, so I choose one from the Playmates Simpsons toys.  I then airbrushed in subtle shadows and highlights.  After all was completed I glued the figure to a solid wood base....for added class.
