Now Han Solo was always one of my favorite Harrison Ford characters, and it really bothered me that Kenner never made a vintage Han Storm trooper figure. Making Han was not as easy as one may think. The hardest part was removing the helmet from the Storm trooper figure while still keeping the figure in tacked. Careful Dremeling and a VERY steady hand was needed. One mistake and I could have ruined both the body and the helmet. After the helmet was removed, I needed to repair the large hole that was left. I first made sure that Han's head was glued onto a small plastic pole, then glued into the hole in the body. I then puttied up the hole and sculpted his shoulder armor. This part was tricky, because I had to make sure that his arms could still move. Then rest was just paint touch ups. The only down side is that the helmet was too small to fit on Han's head.
