GI Joe leader, Duke, was created using the 14" tall,  Marvel Legends Icon figure of the Punisher.  The Punisher's military boots and pants made him the ideal base for this character.   Duke's collar, pockets, buttons and shoulder epaulets were all sculpted onto the figure's original t-shirt.  In my vast  "Box-O-Parts", I found the perfect helmet and dog tags.
