Cobra Commander was made using Count Dooku from the popular Star Wars Unleashed toy line. This base figure gave the Commander the dynamic pose I was looking for. I used Magic Sculpt putty to created his gloves and belt. I then sculpted his head by hand. For his Cobra emblem, I printed the logo on a sticker label off my computer. I then carefully cut it out with my trusty X-ACTO knife. I placed it on the figure and painted over it. This is a much easier method then painted this detailed emblem free hand. I gave alot of thought as to what I wanted to place in his open hand. A gun just seemed too cliche' and sword looked weird. I decided to go with something that showed his desire for world conquest.
