Cobra Commander was made using Count Dooku from the popular Star Wars Unleashed toy line. This base figure gave the Commander the dynamic pose I was looking for. I used Magic Sculpt putty to created his gloves and belt. I then sculpted his head by hand. For his Cobra emblem, I printed the logo on a sticker label off my computer. I then carefully cut it out with my trusty X-ACTO knife. I placed it on the figure and painted over it. This is a much easier method then painted this detailed emblem free hand. His chrome visor was crated by simply cutting sliver sticker pager into the correct shape, then placing into the helmet.I gave alot of thought as to what I wanted to place in his open hand. A gun just seemed too cliche' and sword looked weird. I decided to go with something that showed his desire for world conquest.
