These Space Marines are ready to kick some Alien ASS!

Hudson and Vasquez were both made from the Hicks figure McFarlane toys. Hudson was the easy character to create. I used my Magic sculpt to round out his face and change her hair. It needed to make sure it didn't look like Hicks when I was finished, so changing his expression was important. Next I needed to make his helmet. This also help in making him look more like Hudson and less like Hicks. I used a plan helmet I had in my "parts box". I hand sculpted the details like the camera, cigarette pack, and front armor panel.

Vasquez was a bit more difficult. I started by carefully stripper of her armor and take off all the detail such as the figures shirt sleeves. I used the head from another McFarlane figure that the expression I needed for this character. Magic Sculpt Putty was used to re-sculpt her armor and hair. A large gun from my "parts box" modified was some "extras" was used for her Smart Gun. I attached the gun to her hip with a plastic hinge, so it could swivel with her body.
